FAQs

Q?How long will it take to repair my computer?
A.

Most repairs are completed and returned within 2-5 working days after the cost estimate is agreed with the customer, or completed the same day where an on site repair is possible.  Hardware repairs can take longer where the repair is more lengthy and complex, or if replacement parts have to be ordered.  We will contact you and keep you updated if this is the case.

If you have urgent repair requirement, a same day priority repair on site or collection and delivery service is available for an additional charge.  Please phone us on 0118 321 3562 to discuss any urgent repairs.  Whilst we will always try our best to provide this as a same day service, dependent on the nature and complexity of the repair, we may not always be able to return the repair on the same day.  If we are unable to complete the repair on the same day, we will discuss this with you.  In either case you will be contacted with a repair estimate before work is carried out and completed.

Q?Do you offer collection and delivery for your repair service?
A.

Yes, we offer a free collection and delivery service for computer repairs within Caversham and the surrounding area.  This service is included in the cost of any completed computer repair.  We are able to offer the collection and delivery service for a small charge outside of the local Caversham area.

If you have used the collection and delivery service and decide to go ahead with the repair then the cost of the collection and delivery service is included in the repair price.  If you decide not to proceed with the repair there will be a small charge of £20 to cover our investigation costs and to return your computer to you.

Q?How much will it cost to repair my computer?
A.

The cost of repairing your computer will depend on the time it will take to investigate and resolve the problem, based on the reported customer issue.  It may sometimes also be necessary to replace components if a hardware failure has occurred.

We are always happy to return your old or replaced parts to you with your computer, please ask if you would like us to do so.  We will never replace parts where it is not necessary unless the customer has requested an upgrade.

We will always provide a cost estimate and agree this with you before carrying out the repair so you will know in advance what the cost will be.

If you have used the collection and delivery service and decide to go ahead with the repair then the cost of the collection and delivery service is included in the repair price.  If you decide not to proceed with the repair there will be a small charge of £20 to cover our investigation costs and to return your computer to you.

Q?Do you offer an on site repair service?
A.

Yes, we are able to come to your home or business to carry out many repairs, and most upgrades.

Depending on the nature of the problem we will advise if an on site repair is possible when you report your issue.

Whilst we hope to be able to repair many issues on site, there will be occasions where the fault is more complex or time consuming, we may have to collect the computer and return it to you.  Where a more complex or lengthy repair is collected and completed at our facilities, it will work out more cost effective for the customer instead of paying an hourly on-site rate.

If you are not sure whether you need an on site repair, or a collection and delivery service, please get in touch where we will be happy to advise.

Q?What hardware upgrades do you offer?
